Too Much Candy!
We ended up with a ton of leftover candy :(

Halloween
Having moved from an older, hillier, darker neighborhood where not many people trick-or-treated to a younger, flatter, sidewalk-ier, better lit neighborhood with lots of kids has us concerned about Halloween preparedness. We have no idea how much candy to buy.

Moving
We bought a house in Alabaster. The house is awesome. Moving sucks.
House Buying
We’ve found a house and are in the process of purchasing it. I just met the inspector who gave the house a clean bill of health. The inspector was really awesome and thorough. If you’re ever in the market for a home inspection in the Birmingham area, give Chris at A Closer Look a call.

House Shopping
It looks like we’re going to have to move out of our rental house pretty soon, so we’re house shopping. We thought about building on some land we have in Alabaster, but houses are so cheap right now, it seems like we’d get a lot more for our money buying a house rather than building.
